This spire is located 300 yards south of Echo Rock on the ridge separating Anderson and Linsley glacier

Route. I, 5.5.  Follow Route 2, Echo Rock, to the saddle between Echo Rock and the Thumb.  Proceed S until reaching the 150-ft tower.  Ascend the N ridge over easy slabs to an airy traverse before a final short, steep pitch on the summit block.  Time: 2 hours up from the head of Anderson Glacier.

Note: There are several other interesting rock towers lower on the ridge forming the W wall of Anderson Glacier.
